About the open role: 

As a Strategic Project Manager at Setanta Sports, your mission will be to lead and oversee the company's strategic planning process, establish relevant performance metrics for projects, and ensure the timely execution of planned strategic initiatives.

You will be responsible for implementing and managing the project management system effectively and ensuring seamless execution of strategic projects.

What you’ll do:

Lead Strategic Planning:

• Lead the company's strategic planning process, ensuring projects align with the company's goals;
• Improve processes within projects based on feedback, with a focus on efficiency and automation;
• Establish best practices and guidelines to optimize project outcomes;

Implement Project Management Systems:

• Set up and manage systems to monitor project execution;
• Collaborate with teams to adjust processes as needed for better results;
• Define and manage project pipelines;
• Analyze and report project results (with the customer/direct manager/relevant directions);
• creating relevant KPIs for performance measurement;
• Ensure the project management system stays up-to-date and evolves as needed;

Manage interdepartmental Projects:

• Identify stakeholders and allocate responsibilities;
• Organize regular team meetings to review project progress;
• Analyze completed tasks and provide status updates;
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor within the role and expertise.

What we expect from you:

• Solid working experience in implementing strategic project management systems;
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or equivalent is a must;
• Working experience in managing technical projects will be a plus;
• Fluent in English and Russian languages verbal and nonverbal communication is necessary;
• Proven ability to manage multiple and overlapping processes and projects to completion, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines;
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking, and presenting;
• Knowledge of Sports at the amateur level would support performance success.
