About the project

Currently, we are looking for a top Business Analyst (Finance Processes) for our key client in Tallinn, Estonia which is a specialized consulting firm focused on helping businesses achieve transformative outcomes. This company serves clients in both the European and GCC markets. Their experienced consultants deliver strategic and technological solutions to drive business success. With a client-centric approach and values of excellence, innovation, and integrity, they offer a range of services including business strategy, transaction advisory, and digital & tech solutions. Currently, they are assisting a large Health Insurance company in Saudi Arabia with their digital transformation, and we are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to offer invaluable insights to facilitate the company's high-level strategic choices.

Your Duties:

As a  Senior Business Analyst, you will be:
 

Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Finance Operations to understand existing processes, systems, and workflows

Documenting end-to-end processes, including steps, decisions, stakeholders, interdepartmental interactions, and data flows

Identifying and documenting data sources (system-generated and manual inputs) for accuracy and reliability

Analyzing process documentation to find inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement areas

Conducting gap analyses to compare processes against industry best practices and propose enhancements

Validating and refining process documentation through stakeholder engagement for accuracy and completeness

Partnering with tech teams to grasp system integrations and capture technical details

Creating process maps and visuals for complex processes to enhance clarity

Collaborating with subject matter experts for documentation alignment with actual processes

Recommending process improvements based on data analysis and documentation insights

Contributing process documentation expertise in cross-functional meetings

Staying updated on industry trends and process management for enhanced documentation practices

Requirements: 

At least 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in finance or operations

At least 2-3 years of experience using process mapping and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)

Strong understanding of finance operations processes, principles, and practices

Proven track record of creating comprehensive process documentation, including process flows, diagrams, and detailed descriptions

Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Reengineering

Excellent analytical skills to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with stakeholders at various levels.

Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately capture complex processes

Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams

Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and within a team environment

English level upper intermediate (B2) is a must

Nice to have:
