Nino Abzianidze is a 2024 graduate of the TSU Vocational Program “Event Management.”
Although she has been working as an information officer at Tbilisi International Airport for years, she successfully pursues her passion as well. Nino’s flower shop, “Flowers by Nino,” is very popular. She is also a wedding organizer and designer.
“When I studied in the Event Management vocational programme, my goal was to acquire deep and practical knowledge in my field, which my studies at the university significantly provided,” said Nino Abzianidze. According to her, she now successfully applies this knowledge both in her flower shop business and in organizing and designing weddings.
Shalva Kashiashvili is a 2024 graduate of the TSU Vocational Education Center and currently works at the accounting and auditing company “Ecovis Georgia” as an Assistant Accountant.
Studying in the vocational educational programme “Accounting” (Tbilisi) became a key foundation for his successful career. He received his first employment offer while still a student.
“The knowledge and experience I gained at the TSU Vocational Education Center laid the groundwork for my career advancement and development, which was reflected even before I graduated,” said Shalva Kashiashvili.
Tamar Kharabadze is a 2024 graduate of the TSU Vocational Programme “Office Management” (Kutaisi). Tamar currently works at LLC “European Central University” as the Head of the Human Resources and Office Administration Department, overseeing the organization’s strategic human resources management and coordination of administrative processes.
She is also employed as a Human Resources Manager at LLC “Coca-Cola Imereti” and serves as a coordinator at the “Academy of Thinking.”
Tamar decided to study at the TSU Vocational Education Center to learn a new profession and improve her professional skills, and her expectations were met. She now effectively applies the knowledge she acquired in real-world settings.
“Particularly important were the practical skills I gained through the programme, which I directly applied in both human resources management and administrative work. In addition, the programme helped strengthen my analytical and communication skills, which are especially important in daily work and allow me to work more effectively both with my team and with partner organizations,” said Tamar Kharabadze.
Salome Ghachava is a 2025 graduate of the TSU Vocational Education Center programme “Customs Affairs.”
Salome decided to study a new profession out of a desire for career growth. According to her, her choice paid off because the knowledge she gained at the TSU Vocational Education Center is high-quality and easily applicable, particularly in terms of employment.
“Studying in the vocational programme ‘Customs Affairs’ is the best way to gain knowledge and advance one’s career,” Salome Ghachava stated.
Giga Gigauri works as an advisor at TBC Bank. He is a 2024 graduate of the TSU Center of Vocational Education.
Giga decided to study the vocational programme “Financial Services” to gain more knowledge and education, and he believes his choice was successful. The knowledge acquired through the vocational programme has helped him in his professional development.
Gvantsa Buadze is a remote banker at the Bank of Georgia and a 2024 graduate of the TSU Center of Vocational Education.
She decided to enroll in the vocational programme “Financial Services” (Tbilisi) for several reasons. First of all, her decision was influenced by the reputation of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The second and main reason was her desire to invest in her career, professional and personal development.
As a mother of two, she believes that it was precisely vocational education that enabled her to achieve career advancement in the banking sector.
Teimuraz Khetsuriani is a 2024 graduate of the TSU Vocational Education Center. His field of interest was cargo transportation and logistics. Therefore, he decided to study in the vocational programme “Cargo Transportation Logistics” (Kutaisi).
Teimuraz has already gained significant career experience, having worked in various networks as a preseller, viser, and monitor. He is currently employed at LLC “Ifkli” as a distributor.
“I had already worked in logistics and had some experience, but I gained much more knowledge in this field through the professional program, for which I am grateful to the TSU Center of Vocational Education,” he said.
Juna Kukhalashvili is a 2023 graduate of the TSU Vocational Programme “Library Studies” (Kutaisi).
After completing a bachelor’s programme in Business Administration, Juna continued her studies at the Police Academy. She subsequently moved from the banking sector to work in the Office of Resource Officers, where she continues to work today.
“I currently use the knowledge I gained from the vocational programme ‘Library Studies’ in my work. I advise children of different ages on how to select and read various types of literature correctly,” Juna Kukhalashvili stated.
Tamar Melia is a 2024 graduate of the TSU Center of Vocational Education. Despite holding a higher education degree in economics and owning her own business, she believes that the vocational programme “Event Management” (Kutaisi) has made her professional activities more engaging and dynamic.
“For eight years, I have been managing my own advertising agency, TG Studio, which combines printing and publishing services with business and marketing activities. I became a member of the Guides Association. I speak four languages, work as a tour guide, and organize cultural tours both in Georgia and abroad. I am also involved in charitable and educational projects. In all of this, the knowledge and practical experience gained during my studies in the vocational program are immensely important,” Tamar noted.
According to Tamar Melia, her decision to pursue vocational education was driven by a desire to deepen her knowledge specifically in the field of event organization, and it was a deliberate step toward professional development. She expresses special gratitude to the head of the program, Ana Razmadze, who, as she notes, helped her grow professionally and discover her own potential.
“In my current work—whether it is planning tours or organizing public or promotional events—I consistently apply the practical knowledge I gained at TSU. The skills related to team management, budgeting, and event planning are especially valuable, as they allow me to make my projects more effective and well-organized,” Tamar added.
Tedo Bukhrikidze is a 2024 graduate of the TSU Center of Vocational Education.
He decided to pursue vocational education because he believed that this choice would support his professional development. In his view, his expectations were fully met.
Tedo owns his own business and successfully applies the knowledge and practical experience gained through the vocational programme “Event Management” (Kutaisi) in his professional activities.
