Tbilisi State University (TSU) and the University Medical Center Göttingen have signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document was signed by Acad. Jaba Samushia, the Rector of TSU, and Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Brück, the Head of the University Medical Center Göttingen.
The memorandum builds on the close relations established between the two universities in recent years and aims to develop long-term and strategic cooperation in the field of scientific research in medicine.
The cooperation involves developing student exchange programs; initiating short-term courses to improve the qualifications of academic staff; establishing joint research groups in the fields of morphology, neuroscience, medical informatics and digital medicine; and partnering with and participating in European scientific grants.
The partnership between TSU and the University of Göttingen is an important step in promoting medical education and internationalizing TSU.
