Success of Young Scientists from TSU

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) maintains leading positions in the state grant competition for young scientists announced by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation in 2021. 14 out of all winning projects (26%) were submitted by young scientists from TSU.

 

The competition aims to enhance the quality of research by supporting research projects of young scientists, to promote their involvement in thematic or interdisciplinary scientific cooperation; also, to help higher education institutions strengthen and develop their scientific and research activities.

 

Grant projects can be submitted to the state grant competition for young scientists in all scientific fields: exact and natural sciences, agrarian sciences, humanities, social sciences, Georgian studies. Last year, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation funded 12 projects submitted by young scientists from TSU.
