Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University’s Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Center, in collaboration with the Georgian Unmanned Technologies Association, has successfully completed the FPV Drone Piloting Course, designed to equip students with knowledge and practical skills in operating unmanned aerial vehicles.
Within the course framework, participants studied both theoretical foundations and practical applications. Upon completion, graduates are able to independently pilot FPV drones, diagnose technical issues, and participate in competitions and innovative projects.
The closing ceremony took place at the training airfield of the Georgian Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Federation, where graduates received certificates. The event concluded with demonstration flights, during which students showcased their newly acquired skills in practice.
The event was attended by representatives of Tbilisi State University’s administration, the Georgian Unmanned Technologies Association, and participating students.
TSU’s Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Center continues to develop its Drone Laboratory and expand educational programs in this field to provide students with access to cutting-edge technologies and hands-on learning experiences.
