Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), in partnership with the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), announces a Call for Applications for PhD students and junior faculty members from accredited public research universities in Georgia. The program aims to strengthen participants’ research skills, academic writing capacity, and professional networks.

Application period: 25 November 2025 – 30 January 2026 (inclusive)

Eligibility Criteria

• PhD Students

1. At the time of application, and throughout participation in the program, applicants must:
2. hold active student status at a public higher education institution in Georgia;
3. have a GPA of at least 2.5.

• Junior Faculty Members

1. At the time of application, and throughout participation in the program, the applicants must:
2. be employed by a public higher education institution in Georgia for teaching and/or research purposes;
3. have defended their PhD no earlier than January 1, 2020.
