A call is announced for TSU academic staff to win Erasmus + scholarships funded by the European Commission at the Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic)!

!!! Physical mobility will depend on the epidemiological situation in Georgia and the Czech Republic, as well as on entry and stay regulations in the host country.

The call is open to the academic staff of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Mobility Period: Spring Semester 2022

Duration of mobility: 5 working days + no more than 2 days for travel

Scholarship Selection Process:

1. Checking the electronic application and relevant documentation (Tbilisi State University)
2. Interview with Candidates Selection Commission (Tbilisi State University)
3. Final Selection / Scholarship Award (Host University)

List of application documentation:

1. Copy of passport;
2. Certificate of employment (in English);
3. European format of CV in English;
4. Completed work plan in English (mandatory, 8 hours of lecture work per week; certified with the signature and seal of the Dean of the relevant faculty of TSU) Appendix 1; Please note that the proposed lecture course should include the topic of sustainable development!;
5. Recommendation in English (on the electronic registration portal mobility.tsu.ge you must enter your recommender data in the recommender field. A link will be sent to the recommender by e-mail, where he/she fills in the recommendation online);
6. Letter of pre-acceptance issued by the host university (an official letter is not required, e-mail consent/confirmation of interest, which will be issued by the relevant academic secretariat and/or professor of the host university);

Academic staff interested in applying for the exchange program should register on the electronic registration portal of exchange and mobility program management mobility.tsu.ge, upload the full list of application documentation (in PDF format) and send the application electronically by 14:00 on February 4 this year!

Please note that the portal mobility.tsu.ge:

• Does not register applications after the deadline (February 4, 14:00);
• Does not register an incomplete application package;
• The application is considered electronically submitted only after pressing the send button!
• Upon successful submission of the application documentation, the applicant will receive the relevant email notification;
• The time and date of the interviews will be sent individually to all applicants by e-mail indicated on the portal [mobility.tsu.ge];
• Applicants will be interviewed remotely!

b) Finances and restrictions related to Covid-19:

• Physical mobility may be related to compliance with administrative rules and regulations for entry into the recipient country, such as possession of a full Covid-19 vaccination certificate, PCR testing (single or multiple), quarantine stay, travel, health and accident insurance, and more. Which is related to financial costs and time resources. All such expenses shall be reimbursed by the mobility participant.
