The purpose of the certification course is to give knowledge to interested persons about drones; to create the atmosphere of communication between industry and academic circles. Successful students will undergo internships at partner companies.

The precondition for joining the course: knowledge in the field of engineering is desirable; English language level B1

The certification course involves 10 lectures and practical works in the laboratory of drones located at TSU FabLab.

The course covers the following issues:

Technical terms related to drones

Description and determination of major components of drones

Dependence of drones on various axis and their interaction

FPV characteristics

General knowledge about drone assembling

Equipment and program used for measurement and monitoring most frequently

Civilian application of a drone

Necessary technical issues

Basic principles of entrepreneurship – what is needed to turn your idea into a vital business

Duration of the course: 24 hours

A certificate of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will be awarded upon completion of the course.
