The course is designed for teachers, nurses and other personnel of preschool institutions, kindergartens, boarding schools and so on, as well as people willing to get a job at the above mentioned institutions, other interested persons.
Precondition for joining the course: qualification of a nurse, qualification of a preschool teacher; employment at a preschool institution; in case of job seekers – complete secondary education; additional requirement – minimum age – 18.
The purpose of the course: Teaching the rules and methods of providing first (emergency) aid to a child at preschool institution. Special attention will be paid to teaching the methods of providing first aid to children with disabilities, when a number of specific factors should be taken into consideration that requires special knowledge.
Upon completion of the course:
Participants will know how to identify the necessity of providing first (emergency) aid to a child; to use the rules and methods of rendering first aid in practice. The acquired knowledge will help the personnel of preschool institutions make a quick and correct decision so that to carry out all manipulations necessary for saving child’s life and health and avoid using incorrect methods of aid caused by lack of knowledge, because rendering first aid incorrectly may cause additional harm to a child. The methods and rules of rendering first aid to children with disabilities, taking into consideration existing pathologies, will be taught during the course.

A certificate of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will be awarded upon completion of the course.
