TSU Vocational Education Center students Mariam Khmiadashvili and Ani Chigoshvili ("Event Organization," Tbilisi) and Lena Meshveliani ("Event Organization," Kutaisi) have successfully implemented their student projects in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.
The projects aimed to provide vocational students with additional knowledge and skills that would help them in future employment and career development.
As part of the initiative, masterclasses were held in Tbilisi and Kutaisi. The sessions were conducted by TSU Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Psychology Nata Asatiani, and social media specialist, M.A. in Mass Communication Gvantsa Bziava. The masterclasses focused on:
"Public Speaking and Effective Presentations"
"Social Media as an Effective Communication Tool"
After the completion of the masterclasses, the Head of the TSU Vocational Education Center, Levan Tsikaridze, along with the trainers Nata Asatiani and Gvantsa Bziava, awarded students with special certificates.
Levan Tsikaridze emphasized that the TSU Vocational Education Center annually announces a competition for funding student projects. He noted that any TSU vocational program student or group of students can submit vocational/educational or cultural/sports projects, which will be implemented with the support and funding of the TSU Center of Vocational Education.
Additionally, Levan Tsikaridze announced that starting in 2025, the annual funding allocated for student projects is expected to increase, allowing more students to carry out education-and development-oriented projects with the support of the TSU Vocational Education Center.
