On January 18, within the framework of the "Wine Tour Conducting" module for the students of the "Cultural Heritage Guide" vocational education program, an educational excursion provided by the program was held, which was aimed at evaluating the students in a real environment. The excursion was held in Athens, in the cellar of Nika Vacheishvili. As part of the excursion, Mr. Nika introduced the history of the winery, grape varieties and types of wine common in the region to the vocational students. A wine tasting was also held. Taking into account the criteria given in the module, the students were tasked with conducting a wine tour. For this, they had previously prepared and analyzed information about traditional Georgian winemaking, wine regions of Georgia, the history of Qvevri wine and various issues related to winemaking. Vocational students successfully coped with the task.
