The work addresses genesis and evolution of the society of Jesus (order of Jesuits) – one of the most powerful organization, all major stages of its activities, whether in Europe or the Eastern states, Georgia among them. All along its existence the Order has played a major role in educational, missionary and political spheres, continuing its activities successfully to these days.

The all along its existence, has contributed greatly not only to the development of scientific, cultural – educational and missionary activities but political sphere as well, continuing its efforts to this day.

Vivid example to this, in the two thousand year history, is an autstanding figure, the first Jesuit Pope Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who, on March 13 of 2013 ascended the Papal Throne, talking the Papal name Francis I. In a short period of his Pontificate, during the three years, he has acquired the reputation of  the great reformer, introducing successful changes in internal and foreign policy of Vatican, promoting its role in contemporary political and religious  processes worldwide.
