TSU - Komeshi Center
In October 2012, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and Camay - Cooperation and Language Institute (Komeshe Institute) signed an agreement on the opening of the Portuguese Language Center at TSU. The Center is willing to give TSU employees and students as well as the broader community to learn about the culture, literature and language of Portuguese speaking countries.
The Komesheh Institute provides the center with a rich library that offers readers a wide choice: books and audio-visual material on Portuguese literature and culture. The Center wants the library to become a place for workshops and workshops on literature, culture, poetry or novels, as well as debates and meetings around the theme.
One of the main objectives of the Center is to organize Portuguese Language and Cultural Courses (For more information, see Language Courses)
Each academic year, funded by the Camus Institute, the Center organizes various cultural events such as cinema festivals, performances (theater), concerts, book festivals or symposiums to popularize Portuguese language languages, literature and culture. Attending attendance is free and it is carried out by the Portuguese Embassy in Ankara and local authorities.
The Komesheh Center's wish is to support students' exchange programs and study abroad. The Center offers its students the opportunity to participate in the competition - "Best Student Award", to get a summer scholarship to go to Portugal (please see details for details). At present, the Center works with the TSU Foreign Relations Department on the project Erasmus + Program in Portugal and Brazil.
