As part of his working visit to Turkey, the Rector of Tbilisi State University (TSU), Academician Jaba Samushia visited Acibadem University, one of the world’s leading medical institutions. Rector Jaba Samushia, accompanied by the Consul General of Georgia in Istanbul Aleksandre Jishkariani, met with Professor Ahmet Şahin, the President of Acibadem University, and other members of the academic community.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the potential for future collaboration between TSU and Acibadem University. Specifically, they discussed the organization of internships for students and professors of the TSU Faculty of Medicine. A memorandum of cooperation on this matter will be signed soon. Additionally, they explored the possibility of internships for TSU students in Turkish university clinics. Representatives of the Faculty of Medicine at TSU are expected to visit the Turkish University to exchange experiences.
Acibadem University was founded in 2007 and is known for its high-tech educational and research infrastructure. The university prepares future healthcare specialists using dynamic and modern educational programs taught by a highly qualified team of professors and teachers.
