TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia awarded the winner of the student intellectual championship “Brilliant Mind,” the WMD team from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Before that, he participated in the super final match as an invited guest, asking questions to the two finalist teams: “We Still Have Brains Diddy” of the Faculty of Humanities and “WMD” of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
The TSU Rector wished the winners success. “This is a large-scale project. Everyone who participated in this project is a winner. TSU will support any of your initiatives that are focused on education and development,” Jaba Samushia addressed the finalists.
The new student intellectual championship “Brilliant Mind” is organized by the Student Self-Government Education Department of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The championship aims to develop students' intellectual skills, encourage teamwork, and enhance the university's educational and cultural environment.
A total of 70 teams, with 10 from each faculty, participated in the qualifying round of the TSU Student Intellectual Championship “Brilliant Mind.” Cash prizes were awarded to the winning teams from all seven faculties in the qualifying round and to the teams that took first, second, and third places in the final round.
