Tbilisi State University Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia, opened a student scientific conference, at which reports on research related to the Democratic Republic of Georgia were presented.
The conference titled "Democratic Republic of Georgia: Politics, Society, Culture" was organized by the student union Skhivi.
At the event, Rector Jaba Samushia emphasized the role of research related to the Democratic Republic of Georgia in strengthening national self-awareness. He also spoke about little-known facts from that period, and thanked the Skhivi student union for proposing and organizing the conference. According to him, such initiatives not only stimulate interest in historical heritage, but also reflect the possibility of a continuous connection between generations in an academic space.
During the conference, students presented papers on legal, economic, social, and other humanitarian topics, among others.
At the end of the conference, the participating students were awarded certificates.
