The Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia participated in the graduation ceremony of the class of 2023 of ISET’s bachelor’s and master’s programs in economics. This year, 125 students graduated from ISET’s BA and MA programs in economics.
Peter Fischer, German Ambassador to Georgia, Erik Illes, Head of Development Cooperation and Deputy Head of Mission of Sweden, John Pennell, the USAID Mission Director, and Nikoloz Gagua, the Vice President of the National Bank of Georgia, congratulated the students on their graduation. Rector Jaba Samushia also welcomed the graduates.
It is noteworthy that ISET’s bachelor’s and master’s programs are the only internationally accredited economics programs in the country. For the third year in a row, ISET’s Bachelor’s Program in Economics has been ranked first among all Georgian universities’ business and economics programs, according to the results of the Unified National Exams.
