TSU Rector Jaba Samushia met with the doctoral students and a postdoctoral fellow who completed their studies at the University of Texas (USA). He spoke about job opportunities at TSU and offered jobs to scholarship holders selected through the mobility and research promotion program. Jaba Samushia focused on improving the joint project, considering the scholarship holders’ experience.
In the current academic year, TSU already has its second cohort at the University of Texas. The mobility program is a partnership between Tbilisi State University and the University of Texas. It aims to strengthen research potential in Georgia. Last year, six students took part in the program. They are all studying for a doctorate in different scientific fields.
