“I am ready to stand by your side until the end. This university belongs to you,” TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia told the newly elected members of the 9th Convocation of the Student Self-Government.
During the meeting, Rector Samushia discussed the educational process, learning environment, infrastructure innovations, increased funding for student projects, and various activities.
Students asked the Rector questions and discussed current issues and problems. Members of the student self-government also raised the need to make certain changes to the examination procedures. The Rector instructed the Examination Center to consider students’ interests as much as possible when resolving the issue.
Jaba Samushia offered to hold similar meetings every three months where students could raise and resolve issues of interest to them.
