Jaba Samushia Meets with Participants of “Gen-z Academy: Laboratory of Freedom”

 

Tbilisi State University Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia attended the opening event of the joint program “Gen-z Academy: Laboratory of Freedom,” a collaboration between TSU and the youth educational organization the Georgian Institute of Non-Formal Education. The Rector spoke with the young people about university opportunities, exchange projects, and student life. He promised to support the participants in implementing the joint program.

TSU Deputy Rector Kakhaber Cheishvili, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Salome Dundua, and students and graduates from schools in the surrounding districts of Tbilisi attended the event.

 

The program brings together over 100 young people from across the country to promote non-formal education, develop interpersonal skills, and raise political awareness. The youth of the Laboratory of Freedom are interested in the social, political, administrative, and legal sciences.

For a month, participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures, master classes and debates on interesting topics, as well as engage in various cognitive activities. Meetings will be held every weekend during that month.
