During Tbilisi State University's open day, Rector Jaba Samushia, faculty deans, professors, and administrative staff met with approximately 1,000 applicants and graduating schoolchildren. They provided information on topics of interest.
The TSU Rector welcomed the applicants and introduced them to the opportunities they will have while studying at TSU. He also spoke about student services, new educational projects, infrastructure improvements, and plans that the university administration intends to implement in the near future. “Our goal is to create the best possible environment and conditions for our students, ensuring that their lives are diverse, interesting, and fruitful,” said Jaba Samushia.
The Open Day was held at all seven faculties of TSU, where applicants received specific and comprehensive information on the subjects to be taken in the Unified National Exams, the learning process, educational programs, international relations and exchange programs with foreign universities, financing studies, career development opportunities, educational resources, studying and researching, student dormitories, cultural and sports activities, and other details of student life.
Applicants who attended the event had the opportunity to tour the laboratories, planetarium, museums, and the learning spaces where they will have to study in the future.
Tbilisi State University offers 240 educational programs at all three levels of education and has up to 25,000 students.
