A presentation of the latest edition of POLIS, a scientific journal published by the Petre Andrei University of Iași (Romania), took place at TSU. This edition is entirely dedicated to the millennial history, culture and science of Georgia.
Cooperation between the two universities is supported by the Embassy of Georgia in Romania. Georgian Ambassador to Romania, Tamar Beruchashvili, made a special contribution to this process, and her support has helped to strengthen Georgian-Romanian academic relations.
“Petre Andrei University of Iași has published a scientific journal dedicated entirely to the history, culture and politics of Georgia. It is important for us not only to exchange views on the topics discussed in POLIS, but also to establish direct relations between our universities,” said Sorin Bocancea, the university’s vice-rector.
The journal’s authors include TSU professors and researchers, whose works introduce the Romanian public to the diverse traditions of Georgian history and culture.
