Erekle Astakhishvili, the Deputy Rector of Tbilisi State University, hosted a delegation from Recep Tayyip Erdogan University.
Yaşemin Tutar, the Head of the International Relations Office at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, Yusuf Tutar, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, and Tea Gergedava, the Head of the TSU Department of Foreign Relations, attended the meeting.
The parties discussed the opportunities to strengthen existing relations between the two universities and outlined plans for future cooperation.
As part of the visit, the delegation of Recep Tayyip Erdogan University held a working meeting with Professor Maia Bitskinashvili, the Dean of the TSU Faculty of Medicine. The faculty’s academic staff also attended the meeting.
The Georgian and Turkish colleagues introduced each other to the medical programs available at their respective universities and discussed the implementation of joint research projects in the field of medicine.
