Academician Jaba Samushia, Rector of Tbilisi State University, awarded Professor Andrea Genazzani, a world-renowned scientist, with the diploma of Honorary Doctor of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Professor Andrea Genazzani was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of Tbilisi State University for his contribution to the internationalization of the TSU Department of Reproductive Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, the training of young professionals and the development of Georgian Reproductive Medicine and Gynecology.
Professor Andrea Genazzani is Full Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cagliari (Italy); Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pisa; President of the International Academy of Reproduction, European Society of Gynecologists, International Society of Gynecologists and Endocrinologists; Honorary Doctor of the Universities of Wroclaw, Constanta, Bucharest, Athens; He is a member of several international societies and the editor of scientific journals, the author of more than 1000 scientific articles and textbooks.
Professor Andrea Genazzani is a supporter of Georgian reproductive medicine and Georgian medicine in general.
