TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia participated in an event dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
He emphasized the importance of an inclusive educational environment and the university's responsibility to create equal opportunities for all students.
The event aimed to inform the public about the significance of this day and raise awareness of the necessity of inclusive education.
Gela Zarkua, a journalism student at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and Giorgi Akhmeteli, a TSU lecturer, addressed the event participants.
Students had the opportunity to see firsthand the challenges that people with disabilities face daily.
The event was organized by the TSU Student Self-Government.
