New Project for Schoolchildren Launched at TSU

 

Jaba Samushia, an academician and the rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), met with students from the TSU Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. The students offered several ideas to promote TSU among the younger generation and attract schoolchildren.

The students, who are also members of the Georgian Institute of Non-Formal Education, said that the organization promotes the education and development of young people interested in social, political and administrative sciences.

Jaba Samushia welcomed the existing internship program for TSU students at the organization, as well as their participation in various projects, which contribute to improving students’ knowledge and practical skills. The Rector supported students’ efforts to promote the university, strengthen democratic values among young people, and enhance their knowledge and skills.

Salome Dundua, the dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at TSU, attended the meeting. According to Dundua, the Georgian Institute of Non-Formal Education actively cooperates with the faculty and provides many students with the opportunity to participate in the organization’s projects and internships.
