The student club “Political School” was established at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) by students from the Philology Department at the Faculty of Humanities.
TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia, congratulated the students on establishing the club and wished them success in their future endeavors. He also promised to provide maximum support for the club’s projects.
“A university is a place where people should learn about political culture, the art of debate, communication with opponents and respect for differing opinions. It is important for young people to come together and discuss the future of the country, current processes, and democratic values, as well as to hold discussions on similar issues. It is important that students from the Technical University have also expressed interest in joining the club, because joint projects and events will promote cooperation between the two universities and bring students closer together,” Jaba Samushia noted during a meeting with the students.
The student initiative aims to raise political awareness and develop active citizens with high social responsibility. All interested individuals are eligible to join the club.
