As part of a working visit to Slovakia, Tbilisi State University’s Deputy Rectors, Erekle Astakhishvili and Kakhaber Cheishvili, met with Marek Števček, the Rector of Comenius University Bratislava, and other university representatives.
During their working meeting, the parties introduced each other to their institutional structures, current activities, and existing cooperation formats. Special attention was paid to promoting student and academic staff mobility, developing joint scientific research, and participating in international grant projects.
The parties agreed to expand future cooperation to include new faculties and academic areas, such as management, natural sciences, and informatics.
