On the initiative of Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia, under the leadership of the Department of French Philology of the TSU Faculty of Humanities and with the support of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, francophone students of TSU participated in the meetings of the 48th Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF).
After the final parliamentary session, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili awarded the students with certificates of honor and souvenirs for the successful mission with the Francophone MEPs. The work in the committees was an important professional experience for the TSU students in the French language area.
