Three TSU Project Applications Win First CIF Grant Competition

 

Three project applications of Tbilisi State University are the winners of the first grant competition of the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF).

The following TSU projects won a grant:

“Development and Implementation of a Modern Translational Neuroscience Program in Georgian Universities for the Improvement of Higher Medical Education”;

“Development of the Concept of the Master’s Program in Public Administration Law”;

““Computational Social Sciences for Development”.

The purpose of CIF is to develop specific areas of higher education institutions, modernize academic programs and the learning environment, and strengthen links with the labor market.

14 LEPLs (including 8 regional ones) and seven private higher education institutions participated in the competition.

The project is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the World Bank.
