Tbilisi State University presented its own stand at the annual international exhibition organized by the Association of International Educators (NAFSA) in New Orleans. TSU Deputy Rector Erekle Astakhishvili and Head of the Department of External Relations Tea Gergedava represented the university at the exhibition.
TSU representatives held approximately 40 meetings with higher education institution representatives from around the world. The discussions focused on expanding existing relations with partner universities, finding new partners and signing bilateral agreements, planning joint programs and projects with various universities, and promoting the mobility of students, academic and administrative staff.
19 Georgian state and private higher education institutions participated in the international exhibition in the United States with financial support from the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth. NAFSA is one of the largest and most prestigious international higher education exhibitions, with more than 100 countries and about 200 organizations participating.
