Librarian’s Professional Day is celebrated on April 30. I congratulate the librarians of our country and especially the librarians of Tbilisi State University on their professional day and wish them progress and success!
Your contribution to the formation of an educated and developed society is enormous.
Tbilisi State University unites two richest libraries - the TSU Library, where more than 90 librarians are employed, and the National Science Library with 60 librarians.
A library is not only a space and books, but also a group of people who faithfully and selflessly serve their country and society.
Together with their library activities, they make a significant contribution to the development of science, education, and culture.
The employees of the TSU Library not only take care of the unique book fund, but also engage in great cultural and educational activities - every day they try to provide the readers with the necessary literature, electronic scientific databases and help in the smooth running of the educational and work process.
I would like to express my gratitude to each of them for their tireless work, which serves the formation of educated generations.
