The meeting focused on deepening educational cooperation between the two countries and discussing future joint projects. Special attention was paid to the Caucasology program at TSU’s Faculty of Humanities, which includes a mandatory module on Azerbaijanology.

“Currently, approximately 120 students per semester select courses from the Caucasus Studies program at Tbilisi State University, which underscores the pivotal role of our university in fostering regional educational collaboration. Our relations with Azerbaijani universities are becoming stronger and more multifaceted every year. We are ready to further deepen this cooperation in both educational and scientific areas,” said Jaba Samushia.
