On May 19, the National Scientific Library Development Foundation awarded another student in celebration of the birthday of the former director of the library, physicist Irakli Garibashvili.
Nino Archvadze, a bachelor’s student with the best academic performance in the Physics Department at TSU’s Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, received this year’s award.
The annual award, dedicated to the memory of Irakli Garibashvili, was established in 2023.
Additionally, the library’s conference hall was named after Irakli Garibashvili.
The awards ceremony was attended by National Scientific Library staff and members of Garibashvili's family. Those in attendance once again recognized his contributions to science, the development of the library, the country and international scientific community.
