The premiere of the documentary film The Odyssey of a Treasure was held in the first building of TSU and was attended by TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia.
The film is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the return of the treasure saved by Ekvtime Takaishvili, recounting the dramatic story of the Georgian treasure. According to historians and the museum community, the film reflects the years of emigration and Georgia’s loss of the treasure. It also revives historical moments and focuses on important exhibits.
The film was authored by journalist Marika Bakuradze and produced with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Creative Georgia.
