TSU representatives at Fraunhofer Research Institute

On March 17-20,  in Karlsruhe, Germany, representatives of Tbilisi State University met with leading scientists of the Fraunhofer Research Institute within the framework of the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI project ("Exploratory and networking measures to establish cooperation with universities in Georgia in the field of innovation research") for joint implementation.

 

The Fraunhofer Institute's above-mentioned project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF): Measures for the Establishment of Sustainable Joint Partnership Structures - Research and Innovation Cooperation with the Eastern Partnership and Central Asian Countries. Officially invited: Irina Batiashvili - Project Coordinator, Doctor of Law, Expert on Gender Issues in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI), Moris Shalikashvili - Associate Professor, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law of TSU, Merab Khokhobaia - Associate Professor, Head of the Scientific Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Tbilisi State University. The project participants officially presented their reports to a scientific audience organized by Dr. Rainer Frietsch Head of Department of Innovation and Knowledge Economy.

 

During the meetings in Karlsruhe, participants scheduled future activities within the project at TSU. This includes a conference/symposium, Doctoral students visit component at Fraunhofer Institute, joint events, and research activities.
