On November 12, representatives of Tbilisi State University’s academic staff held an educational event for schoolchildren in Arsha, Kazbegi Municipality. The goal was to introduce chemistry as an important STEM science and develop the students’ ability to apply their knowledge to related fields of science.
The schoolchildren had the opportunity to participate in fun chemical experiments, attend an interesting lecture and various cognitive activities. The event sparked great interest among the schoolchildren. The winners of the competition received memorable gifts. According to the organizers, these types of activities help students grasp the school curriculum and encourage them to pursue a career in chemistry or chemical technology.
The event was held as part of the Rustaveli National Science Foundation's Science Popularization Grant SPG-25-652.
