A team from the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi State University won the EU Moot Court Competition. The members of the winning team are law students: Ekaterine Pateishvili, Nikoloz Gelovani, Davit Chkoidze, and Sopo Chkoidze.
The competition was held for the seventh time this year with the support of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Training Center of Justice of Georgia. Its goal is to deepen students’ knowledge of EU law and the Georgia-EU Association Agreement. This year, more than 200 students from 16 Georgian universities expressed interest in participating in the competition. As part of Europe Days, the final stage of this year’s event was again hosted by the Kvareli Training Center of Justice on May 9 and 10.
