The target group involves persons working in private and public sectors; beginning and incumbent managers/specialists in the sphere of human resource management, as well as other interested persons.
The purpose of the labor law training is:
To raise participants’ knowledge and awareness about legal norms of labor relations;
The training aims to discuss the Organic Law on Labor Code and inform the participants about recent amendments to it. The analysis and joint discussion of problems, as provided by the training, enables us to suppose that upon completion of the course, students will have certain knowledge or deepen knowledge about the content or purposes of the norms;
The training will focus on the Law on Personal Data Protection, which has its impact on labor relations.
Upon completion of the course:
Students will know how to protect the rights of employers and employees;
They will be aware of legal norms of labor relations, involving the identification of the issues related to labor relations and making legally substantiated decisions;
They will be able to use theoretical knowledge received at the training in practice through both verbal and written communication.
The learning process will mainly be carried out in a form of lectures and discussions. Students will also receive questionnaires and additional materials for practical exercises.
The course will be led by Tornike Kapanadze (PhD student of TSU Faculty of Law).
Duration – 6 hours (3 sessions for 2 hours each)
