Tamar Melia

Tamar Melia is a 2024 graduate of the TSU Center of Vocational Education. Despite holding a higher education degree in economics and owning her own business, she believes that the vocational programme “Event Management” (Kutaisi) has made her professional activities more engaging and dynamic.

“For eight years, I have been managing my own advertising agency, TG Studio, which combines printing and publishing services with business and marketing activities. I became a member of the Guides Association. I speak four languages, work as a tour guide, and organize cultural tours both in Georgia and abroad. I am also involved in charitable and educational projects. In all of this, the knowledge and practical experience gained during my studies in the vocational program are immensely important,” Tamar noted.

According to Tamar Melia, her decision to pursue vocational education was driven by a desire to deepen her knowledge specifically in the field of event organization, and it was a deliberate step toward professional development. She expresses special gratitude to the head of the program, Ana Razmadze, who, as she notes, helped her grow professionally and discover her own potential.

“In my current work—whether it is planning tours or organizing public or promotional events—I consistently apply the practical knowledge I gained at TSU. The skills related to team management, budgeting, and event planning are especially valuable, as they allow me to make my projects more effective and well-organized,” Tamar added.
