A workshop titled “How to Enhance Employment Opportunities / HR.GE as a Supporting Platform” was held for students at the Vocational Education Center of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). The session was led by Inga Shakhbaziani, Regional Manager at Employment Agency HR.GE, and Ani Lobzhanidze, Human Resources Manager.
As stated by Levan Tsikaridze, Head of the TSU Vocational Education Center, professional and career development is one of the key priorities of the center. “Vocational programs inherently combine theoretical and practical training to ensure that graduates are ready for the labor market. However, we also strive to equip students with additional knowledge and skills to effectively plan their careers and achieve successful employment,” he emphasized.
According to him, the workshop, organized in collaboration with a partner organization, covered topics such as resume writing, interview preparation, finding job opportunities aligned with the education and professional experience of students, and overall career development strategies.
The event was held within the framework of a memorandum signed between TSU and HR.GE Employment Agency. Students will have the opportunity to upload their resumes to the university website, making them accessible to approximately 30,000 employers in the near future.
Currently, around 400 students are enrolled in the TSU Vocational Education Center in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.
