Students of the TSU Vocational Education Center visited the “Poti and Kulevi Ports & Poti Free Industrial Zone” customs checkpoint and the “Poti” Economic Clearance Zone, operated by the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance.

During the visit students of the Customs Affairs vocational program learned about the specific operations and procedures of the customs checkpoint and economic clearance zone. They had the opportunity to observe customs facilities and infrastructure firsthand, as well as to follow the cargo entry and exit process at the customs border. Additionally, they explored the procedures for cargo clearance and declaration registration.
