Students of the Financial Services vocational programme (Kutaisi) at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University have achieved their first career successes, drawing on the knowledge and practical experience gained during their studies.

Gvantsa Tskhadadze was selected for a paid internship at the Zestafoni branch of Credo Bank, where she works as a Customer Advisor. Ketevan Saghinadze, meanwhile, has been appointed Director of the Kutaisi Centre of Mate Motors.

According to Gvantsa Tskhadadze, the knowledge and practical experience gained through the vocational programme are significantly contributing to her professional development.

“It is particularly important that, while still studying, I was given the opportunity to apply my knowledge in a real working environment, develop new skills and gain a better understanding of how the financial sector operates. The paid internship at Credo Bank is an important professional experience for me and marks a new stage in my career development,” she noted.

The knowledge gained through the vocational programme is also particularly valuable to Ketevan Saghinadze, who now has the opportunity to apply it in her professional work.

“Vocational education is one of the best ways to turn learning into real professional success,” Ketevan Saghinadze said.

Khatuna Tkeshelashvili, Head of the Financial Services vocational programme (Kutaisi), believes that one of the programme’s key strengths is its close and results-oriented cooperation with employers. According to her, active cooperation with representatives of the financial sector began in 2020, creating tangible opportunities for the programme’s students and graduates to gain practical experience, undertake internships and find employment in the financial sector.

“Another successful example of this cooperation is the achievement of two of our students: one is currently undertaking a paid internship with our business partner, Credo Bank, while the other has secured a managerial position in the private sector.
