At the Vocational Education Center of Tbilisi State University, a public lecture titled “Cultural Life of the Democratic Republic of Georgia” was held, dedicated to the 107th anniversary of Georgia’s First Democratic Republic.
The cultural life of Georgia from 1918 to 1921 was presented to vocational students by Salome Chanturidze, Art Historian and Manager of Vocational Orientation and Career Planning at TSU’s Vocational Education Center.
The public lecture covered the artistic associations of that period, the founding of the Georgian National Museum and the National Gallery, the first operas in the Georgian language, the first feature film, and the reforms of the time that brought significant changes to the country.
The public lecture was held within the framework of the project “Let’s Learn, Make Friends, and Discover Georgia – Extracurricular Activities for a Sustainable Future”, implemented with the funding of the Vocational Skills Agency.
