Facilitation of internationalization of vocational education programs

A working visit was conducted on January 26-31 of 2020 to the Vocational Education Center of Estonia "Ida-Virumaa kutshehariduskeskus" in order to promote the internationalization of Vocational Education Programs of the TSU Center of Vocational Education, which unites vocational education schools of three cities (Sillamäe, Jõhvi, Narva-Jõesuu). It is the largest in Estonia in terms of the number of students and educational programs implemented.

 

As well as, the meeting was held at "Tartu Kutsehariduskeskus" in Tartu Center of Vocational Education, which has the longest experience in the implementation of Vocational Education Programs and exchange programs in Estonia.

 


The purpose of the visit to the above-mentioned Centers of Vocational Education was to get acquainted with their infrastructure, organization of the educational process, electronic management systems of the educational process, and educational programs.


As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on the creation of projects of exchange programs, the development of an electronic management system for the organization of the educational process, the sharing of Estonian experience and the training of teachers. A return visit of Estonian colleagues in TSU was also planned for the signing of memorandums of mutual cooperation at the end of the spring of this year.


The head of the quality assurance service of TSU, IRMA GRDZELIDZE, the first deputy of the head of TSU Center of Vocational Education, LEVAN TSIKARIDZE and the manager of the educational process management of the center MARIAM GOGOTCHURI participated in the mentioned meetings.
