TSU Student Service and Career Development Center

The mission of the TSU Student Service and Career Development Center is to promote the comprehensive integration of students into the university by supporting their personal, professional and career development, promoting their participation in university activities, and to facilitate the improvement of social and professional skills needed to participate fully in society and professional life. The Center is also responsible for accommodation, and can offer dormitory facilities to any TSU student.

To fulfill these goals the Center offers:

Student consultations

It is very important that the University helps students to realize their goals and capacities that lead to optimal professional decisions. Consultation sessions aim to assist students by discussing current issues, to familiarize them with existing labor market requirements, and identify the skills and possibilities that will help them make the best development and career decisions.

LLL programs for professional and career development

Besides their academic education, informal education and practical skills are also needed for career planning and personal development. The Center offers regular training courses in a broad range of important subjects such as career planning and management; writing a CV and interview techniques; effective communication and self-presentation skills; teamwork; problem solving; project development and proposal writing etc.

Campus activities and dormitory life

A varied and comfortable student life is important alongside studies and academic work, and the Center aims to optimize possibilities in the dormitory space and on campus.

Bringing educational programs closer to labor market requirements

The modern labor market constantly faces challenges and changes, including qualification requirements for hiring, thus higher educational institutions must keep abreast of the market and train the relevant staff. One of the basic directions of the Center’s activities is to advise students on labor market changes in particular sectors to ensure they develop the skills necessary.
