A delegation from Hong Kong University’s diploma-awarding professional program conducted a study visit to Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The 23-member delegation was hosted by TSU Deputy Rector Erekle Astakhishvili.
The representatives of the University of Hong Kong familiarized themselves with Tbilisi State University’s educational programs, internationalization policy and international cooperation priorities. They engaged in a detailed discussion concerning the evolution of the existing relationship between the two universities and the potential for establishing new avenues of collaboration.
TSU professors delivered lectures on a range of topics pertinent to Georgia, including its history, political situation, security and geopolitics, as well as the business and investment environment in the country. These lectures were presented to a group of guests from Hong Kong.
