As part of his visit to the Republic of Moldova, the Rector of Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia, met with the Rector of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and congratulated the academy on its 35th anniversary.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen the partnership between Tbilisi State University and the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. They also discussed implementing joint educational and scientific initiatives, promoting academic mobility for professors and students, sharing experiences, and creating opportunities to collaborate on international projects.
On behalf of Tbilisi State University, Samushia congratulated the rector of the Academy of Economic Studies and its academic and administrative community on the 35th anniversary, wishing them success in their future educational and scientific endeavors.
As part of the visit, the TSU Rector also attended an event dedicated to the Academy’s 35th anniversary. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Moldova, the Minister of Education and Research, high-ranking state agency and academic circle representatives, as well as rectors and heads of approximately 30 universities from various countries.
The Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova is one of the country’s leading higher educational institutions. It plays an important role in training qualified specialists in economics and business, developing scientific research, and strengthening international academic cooperation.
