A delegation from Artvin Çoruh University (Turkey), led by Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydin, paid an official visit to Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia hosted the delegation.
During the working meeting, the two universities discussed opportunities for deepening their cooperation in education, research, and international mobility. Special attention was paid to student and academic staff exchange programs, the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects, and future partnership formats.
“TSU is ready to strengthen relations with leading and rapidly developing higher education institutions in Turkey, which will significantly contribute to sharing international experiences among students and researchers, as well as developing common initiatives,” said Jaba Samushia.
The Rector of Artvin Çoruh University thanked the TSU administration for the warm welcome and noted that his university looks forward to cooperating with Georgia’s largest university.
The visit highlights both universities’ desire to strengthen regional academic cooperation, cultural exchange, and higher education development through sustainable partnerships.
